  5% Day Benefiting Deaf Family Literacy Academy

  8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

  On March 24^th, add extra groceries to your basket at Whole Foods Market Coral Springs as 5% of the day's net sales from the store will be donated to Deaf Family Literacy Academy, A Volunteer USA Program. The DFLA serves families with a deaf or hard of hearing child or parent in Broward, Miami-Dade, Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties in order to facilitate language, literacy, and fully accessible communication. Program services include home-visits, child literacy instruction, parent education, and parent literacy instruction in American Sign Language, parent support groups and Parent and Child Together Activities. From 4pm-6pm, representatives of the non-profit will teach families basic sign language through fun and games including Sign Language Bingo.
